Dees - Last Wader Part I (Romance Edition)
1336. in all-time charts
Preface:
2005 30/8
The time when I started to work on this remix.
My goal was to make a slow and warm take.
I started to make the chords and baseline,
the textures and effects where added later.
Base would be some lush phase bass.
Mid range was worked up to create a warm
and trembling ambience with cellos, violins,
vibrant chamber.
The top used flutes and bells, and the lead was
a flute.
As time moved on I added more and more expression
to the song. The cello, bells and lead was reworked.
Somewhere around the end of the year I had a working
song.
2006 01/1
My influence kept floating from Vangelis to Jarre and
ended up in a metamorph between two of my biggest
composers, which has been one huge inspiration along
the path.
2007-2008
I did some work from time to time, as I had a lot of
projects going on. Also the creation and inspiration
grew louder and and the end of 2008, I had added more
expression
to the song, such as reworked the strings.
2009 20/8
This would be the final for the remix and I reworked it
for the last time. The most changes I did was:
+Changed the strings
+Changed the lead
+Added a deeper base
+Added hand-made/played drums (African drums)
+Changed the panning, replaced effects and afterklangs.
-Removed a rhythmbased bassline, that didn't fit into
the song.
+Added pads and chorals
+The remix was now split into two parts.
+Mixing level such as EQ, Compressors, Reverb, Delays,
Stereo imaging reworked and reshaped.
Final words along the process:
Song has been made in FL-Studio 8.5.
This has to be the most reworked remix I ever done and the
journey has been awesome and evolving, in many aspect,
and perspectives.
I am proud to present this lovely song
made by Agemixer, remixed by Dees Productions.
