Sounds great!!! One of my favorites
Fabulous remix.
Absolutely love it, well done. Just how a SID chip would sound now if they had continued to develop it :-)
It's pretty heavy in a way. Nicely crafted track that captures the atmosphere of the original Matt Gray song well. For me, it's an instant flashback of ol' memories.
Never liked Matt Gray, but good rendition anyway!

Jungle screams and atmosphere permeate this track. The Matt Gray jungle drums are cleverly mixed with other ethnic percussion to create a jungle atmosphere. Most of Matt Gray's SID bass and drums are intact here, but the lead and chords have been re-rendered with a choir-like instrument and FX. Later developments include SIDlike FX that weren't in the SID, phasing, flanging, gated synth and other additions. Some large chords never quite sound large enough. A cool throwaway distorted lead at the end should have been used earlier: it's worth the price of downloading in itself… This remix is well done, but it doesn't float my boat. This is probably unfair on the remix, but it's a reflection of my lack-of-feeling towards the original tune. Quality Matt Gray cover.

It's pretty amazing that, so many years after Commodore era, a tune, based on the good old sid synthesizer, can create such a magic and mystical atmosphere! You can close your eyes and travel in outerspace! It is something that i never heard before: a superb binding of jungle sounds, sid bass, and modern synth sounds. I especially liked the short bell melody at the ending of the tune. Followed by the short 'rock like' ending made me feel a sweet nostalgia of the legendary pioneers of home computers, C64 and AMIGA the best computers ever made!!
