While a selection of good and smooth sounding sounds was used, this track covers parts of the original sidtune in a quite too repetitive way for a bit more than four minutes. I wish it would cover more of the sidtune and would attempt at one or two variations. If you're looking for a track to become sleepy, this is one. 😉

I like this remix very much. It comes cool and decent but has underlying power. You can feel the floating energy. And it's so beautifully electronic! 😉
At first listen you may find that it has some wrong sounding edges but if you are going deeper into this tune you will discover that they are a necessary part of the song's soul.

My expectations of a good remix are to catch the spirit of the original tune and maybe to upgrade it to another lever. ifadeo accomplished that, even if, in this case, I listended to the original sid AFTER listening to the remix.

Overall a great contribution to R:K:O.

ifadeo experiments with melow ambience (not for the first time), however unfortunately his concepts havn't quite materialised into fruition as they should, due to simplistic instruments and basic implementations. Listening to this tune you can't help feel that with better smoother sounds ifadeo could have really been with the jiggy😉

But as it is, it's ok, but nothing to light the world into oblivion.

The fanboy I am, this is my current favourite of ifadeos works. The remixer follows the original SID song fairly accurately I feel, but makes a bold and rather special instrument substitution. He manages to catch the same general sound perfectly however, and ends up with a song that by far surpasses it's source material in richness and worthyness. I've listened to the original SID, but alas the song is from after I left the C64 for greener pastures. Therefore it doesn't hold any nostalgic value. If you at all value ambient electronica, with a small pinch of 80s retro sound to it - and this is why we come here anyways - do by all means do yourself a favour and listen to this piece at least once.
