This is not bad, but Lightforce has been done too often, and most of the times even better!
What's that? Brimble on speed? *รผarks*

This version of Lightforce kinda reminds me of a tune from war of the worlds with it's attacking baselines and drums. The approach gives the tune a new leash of life and works exceptionally well.

Question marks however rise on the bland choice of main lead and the lack of ooomph! and in parts the weak sounds.

A good version of a tune that has been remixed a heck of a lot, and downloading is recommended, especially if your a fan of the piece.

J Lof manages to breath new life into one of the most remixed tunes simply by speeding it up. That and choosing killer sounds for his remix. ๐Ÿ˜Š Add a rather danceable rhythm to this bowl of soup and you got one pretty good Lightforce cover.

This remake of Lightforce is basically interesting. I say basically because I like idea but the sounds are a bit too agressive. The mixing is not very good. It sounds somehow a bit LoFi, it doesn't have much stereo effects. Besides the different channels aren't well balanced: sometimes one channel overtakes all others because it's just to loud. It's like listening to some old radio-cassette-tape which is very, very old.

In brief: the musical idea is good ๐Ÿ˜Š, the mixing-part could be done better.

It's a fast-paced dance-floor version which contains clearly recognizable parts of Lightforce. So don't expect a full cover. The dance-floor style makes quite a difference. It also doesn't attempt on covering several of the impressive SID modulations found in the original. But it's a fine attempt on a dance-remix of Lightforce which benefits from strong source material and a good selection of sounds. It's somewhere between a GOOD and a VERY GOOD remix.

Being a big fan of the original 7 minute piece I much prefer to hear Lightforce in it's complete form. This remix is good but it misses out some good sections of the original piece. My favourite Lightforce mix is the Allister Brimble one because it's very faithfull to the original version I loved as a kid.
