Compleeto is an incredibly catchy SID tune, full of energy and impossible to ignore, so it had been on my to-remix list for quite some time. The Encore project provided the perfect opportunity to bring it to life. I was also thrilled when Romeo Knight agreed to support me on this endeavor, adding his amazing guitar skills and delivering a killer solo. Finally, Danko sprinkled his mix 'n' master mojo on the track.

Wow! What a remix! 😃

Such a sizzling mix! It manages to sound both modern and yet brings back the best of the eighties! I love the mix of big, quantized, almost LinnDrum-like beats, fat, pumping bass with light, bubbly arpeggios and ethereal pads in the background, and then the expressive lead guitar on top! The energy reminds me of ZZ Top, and the song would fit like a glove in an episode of Miami Vice! The formant-like wawa on the synth emulating the synced ring mod breaks feels just like a talkbox! It doesn't get more eighties than that.😉

I especially love how you improved upon the bass and guitar riffs to make them both fatter and more groovy - and then the solo!!! Wow! When I made the original, I tried to make the lead melody sound like guitar riffs, but I don't play guitar myself, so it was wonderful to hear someone showing us how it should be done!
