Story
Parallax - Martin Galway

  • The version is based on the Parallax Meldoy, that appears after 8 minutes of the Parallax track.

  • The choirs are a bit unsuccessful, I could do better with that now. Also I did not succeed in creating the kind of Latin mood I wanted.

  • The rest of it is mostly sofware synths around cubase and some pads from Korg Wavestation, and seqences from Yamaha AN1x.

  • Not very succesful mastering either.

Superb beginning, except for the portamentos and the pitch shifted samples that completely destroy the realism of the otherwise fantastic sounding choir. Yuck! Okay, so maybe the beginning is not so superb. But the saxophone is (or whatever that lead instrument is) - it makes a positive impact, then the trumpet sounds good, too. Unusual style coupled with the melodic part of Parallax - a sure winner.
