Story
Had this one lying around for ages. Finally after I asked Gibs to do the guitar-solo for it, the last piece of the puzzle fell into place!

I tried to bake a little story in it as well…

Mixed and mastered in FL Studio 9. Mostly used Audjoo Helix and Z3ta+.

One off JB's better songs even gets better every time it's remixed!! F*cking great gituar solo & sound!! We want more, we want more.. Di!! This version together with Marcel Donne's and Lagerfeldt's version is my top 3 of Sweetness! -p2/h3@tw@v3
Sweet ;)
Waited long time for a new "sweet" remix and this is just perfect.
Awesome remake with awesome guitar solo!
What Mayhem shouted
Excellence!!! I think there is a bug in the original sid-file. Just found the original prg-file and it sounds a bit different... This one covers the sid-file from hvsc.
OMFG - a masterpiece!:-)
Awesome, though I still prefer Marcel Donne's version. His background tune adds alot of oomph and this ones a bit blippy. This tune instead focuses on the lead and thats what makes this tune get a red.
Somehow it doesn't catch the way I expected it. Although the mix is solid and well done. Hmm... Maybe it's the tune-selection itself. Who knows.;-)
PERFECT
Awesome one - absolutely great remix!!! Chappeau!
This one blew me away - AWESOME!!!
Amazing!
Sweet? Never heard of it. I GUESS it`s a C64 Game, eh? XD This song is strong, got a powerful sense of emotion and reminds me a little bit of Jogeir Liljedahl`s tracks (especially @ 4:30 min). Great tune. And now SHUT UP-I wanna listen to it once more.;)
Gibs rules! Added to my collection.
Congratulation, this is really great!
Outstanding!!!
I miss something: a flaw.
Two words.... Monster Remix, no scratch that... 4 words.... Remix of the year 2010
This is just beautiful. I love it.
Great job!

Fine choice of instrumentation. Still, I think it is too similar to the original and not much innovation.
Better every time you listen to this. You can hear the emotion
It reminds me of late Pink Floyd a lot. Expertly recorded but...
Do u mean Tears in my eyes? Cuz I have them. Great Duo. Expand it.
Brilliant, but just edged out by Marcel Donnés' version.
Love the execution of this version.
I agree with Nada.
Just chilling..
Rest in Peace

Wow, wow, wow!

Be impressed by my triple-wow, because this being my all-time favorite SID, I am especially picky about remixes that attempt to re-interpret it.

At first I found the intro a bit too slow, but it's growing on me. The silk-soft lead instrument and the overall softness of the entire production is impressive. It would be hard to top the expressive Yamaha CS-80 lead that Marcel Donne put into his remix, but you've done a great job here, Mordi.

When the guitar lead kicks in, it really tickles my heart, makes my legs tremble, tears form in my eyes, and gives me goosebumps - just like it does when I listen to the original SID. Which means that this remix manages to evoke the same emotions in me, and that's no small feat.

Also kudos for the beautiful coda you've added to the end, it's such attention to the detail in the arrangement that makes this remix truly outstanding.

Thank you, Mordi, for this remix! I'll carry it in my heart forever.

Nice work Maestros😊

It is a real clash of two personalities, in the good mean. In many aspects, it shows the best of you both: the sensitivity of Mordi and the raw power of Gibs, with a huge respect for the original track. Mordi, this must be one of your most balanced tracks. And Gibs, you have put much more feelings into that than anything I've heard from you. That's what it makes so great for me. It's a fresh breeze of air in the mass of mechanical mixes. That's what outsanding is for.

Great sounds all the way but the guitar solo works a little independently from the rest of the sound texture and slightly too much in-your-face in the mix. Some more ironing that into the mix would make it a little sweeter and compressor is slightly over the top here and there - but that's my only rants, just some odd lines of a perfect painting.
