Story
Nemesis the warlock. I just loved this game. Perhaps was it the music's fault. Like many other songs ive done, this one is starting slow/weak but adding more and more just to get it more funny to listen to. Lovley bas in this one.

Shouts
When you played a game a lot... And then 20 years later you hear the remix. You know, better than anyone who did not play the game, but just heard the Sid. This is why I know how great this is!!
Just so good and interesting picture of the Nemesis that this music creates.
Too Jarresque but really faithful to the game's atmosphere
Jarresque like hell. This one goes straight to the heart. Years ahead of its time! At 3:10 I fall apart from enchantment. Goose bumps all over! Added to my collection.
Excellent tune
One of the best remixes. Excellent sounds and structure.
Perhaps the best remix of this, the best C64 theme out there ever!
Very good atmosphere build up and orchestral arrangment. Brilliant play and great work
Beautiful tune, great choice of instruments.
Well, it's not really in the same spirit as the original, but anyway a great remix! Very good!
I know this will sound hard, but if this remix was done in the mid 90s, it's good. It sounds MIDI in my ears, sorry mate.
Never commented this one... With Zoids, I think it can von title of your best remix.
One of the first C64 remixes I ever heard. Went with me on numerous travels. Two or three thumbs up.
I really like this. It starts off sounding like it's going to be a bit pedestrian, but really starts to fly by the second minute.
Outstanding is just the right word for this remix!!
Stylish!
Crazyyy! It's just the original tune atmosphere. Many thanks for this :)
Its just GREAT <3
Sounds pretty well done to me.
I have listenea t least 50 times, but still very enjoying experience. Simply brilliant piece of music!

By his own admission O2 points out this tune starts slowly. But the way it builds up is part of the magic for me. The original was more hard hitting but this slightly more mellow version still captures the essence of the tune. Fantastic stuff.

Agree with Tomsk, this is fantastic stuff. O2's best remix, imho! Starts slow, in a neat, nice, simplistic manner, grows a little, grows some more, gets bigger, even bigger and then suddenly at 3:12 those lovely tingles at the back of my neck sends these awesomely (!) wonderful feelings to every cell in my whole body! The one, single arpeggio at 4:49 is a great detail, pinned by a genius! Too soon, the fadeout comes and I feel Why is this remix soooo short?, and wondering how the -frog- those six minutes could pass so quick? If I could bring only one remix from r:k:o to a deserted island, this would be my choise! 😃

O2's cover reminds me a lot of that Synergy album titled Audion form which Hubbard liked to draw inspiration so much. The lead line in the first few minutes of the tune is somewhat soft. Some surprising synthetic voice in the middle makes for a nice break. What I am really missing both in this and SoedeSoft's remix is the awe-inspiring buildup, similar to what is so prevalent in most early Vangelis tunes, where a simple melody line is first introduced, then it is repeated over and over again, each time adding new layers to the music. O2 did a better job in this department, but I am missing that climactic last repetition. Somehow, it just doesn't have that punch to it all the way thru. (Which, IMHO, is also missing from the original SID, which might be the reason I don't quite like it.) All in all, I prefer O2's cover over SoedeSoft's, although both are well done.

A constant buildup, layering different ways of playing the same passage without it getting repetitive. Definitely my favourite NtW remix out there.
