Story
This is not truly speaking a "remix", but rather a cover of the masterpiece music from the game Battle Squadron.
My aim was to "track" this famous piece of music made by Ron Klaren. I tried to get as close as possible to the original version wether in terms of sound (keeping oldschool & chip sounds) and notes.
Some of you will obviously be disappointed because this site is dedicated to remix. On the other hand, this site is full of nostalgic people and I wanted to share my work with all of you.

Doesn't leave a lasting impression, but it's a pretty ok effort. It's got a retro sound to it, and while the whole thing could be beefed up in the mixing quite a bit, I still enjoy this for what it is.
If I had any hair left, I would have teared it out in frustration. I simply LOVE the original version, such a melancholy and beautifully made piece. This falls WAY short however. Dull sounds, hardly any sparkle to the mix and a poor choice of instruments.
It lacks the original feel to it and some of the choices of instruments are plain bad. This could have been so much more with not that much effort.
Again, too many original samples. Low quality impression. Flat mixage. Rather an re-arrangement than a remix.
It's not bad. Actually it's quite nice to listen to. But one purpose with a remake/remix is to be better than the original...
CZ's is better - but if im honest ANY remix of this is welcome - one of the most amazing tunes ever written - not great but not bad but only not bad as the original was Stunning
It's not that bad, but it's not very good either... I prefer the original
The tune is so sorrowful and good....
I love Battle Squadron
Its okay, but the tune beginning in 1:45 nerves a little bit. Anyway nice version.
Very great!!!!!
