I got two minutes into this with no sign of the actual tune. I loathe when tunes remix things so much that there's nothing of the original left.
Doesn't really sound like 80s disco, but I like it very much!!
Remember 12 inch maxi-singles? This does a similar thing by taking the original tune and taking absolutely forever to get started on it. When it does kick in it's good, though.
I wasn't familiar with the original tune (now I am), but it's a nice peace of work you've done. Nice Beat and well mastered but it's a little too long for the lack of changes in the last minutes. That's a problem my own tracks have too (often)...
Difficult. Nice sounds and very 80s, indeed, but too mediocre somehow. Good tune, anyway!.
Sweet retrowave version of a tune that I actually never have listened to before (although being aware of the game title).
Probably this has not so much to do with Martin Galway but who cares when a tune makes you feel like a sort of Tony Manero of the Eighties (? ). : D
Yes, this is Rolands Ratrace Maxi Version! I like it!
Actually - I think this is brilliant. I was enjoying the intro, then the melody kicked in and I was like 'Oh! Roland's Rat Race! '. Great remix Rat District.
Great feeling of the song! Love the long intro!

Strap yourself in for a 2+ minute intro before you hear a single note of Roland's Ratrace, but it's all in glorious synthwave style, which is all the rage today, and since I'm a sucker for those (with all their 80s nostalgic syrupiness), this put a big smile on my face.

I personally think that the current reviewers are a tad too harsh on this tune. The choice of sounds and assembly + production holds really well together. Regardless of you've heard the original or not (I didn't) it's a total 80-s recall. Well done!
