Story

My second remix for RKO

It all began with me finding a nice choir sound and started to play around with some random melodies. Then I found myself playing what later became the intro to this remix.

After that, I just continued and dressed the rest of the song in some kind of techno style. I tried to stay faithful to the original while rearranging it some and spicing it up a bit with some more energy.

Made with Renoise using mostly Nexus, Massive and Vanguard as VSTis but with some Quadrasid, Crystal, GTG_PD9 and Edirol Orchestral in there too.

I'm pretty satisfied with the result, however I feel it lacks something in the middle maybe. I do however like the last part where I gave myself some creative freedom and went all out on the number of voices and arps.

Yes, I know that the last part isn't totally true to the original song but instead a mix of The Mansion / The Wilderness with some ideas, bits and pieces inspired by other remixers.

All in all, I feel it's closer to what I'm capable of than my last remix (Bulldog) but I'm still not there yet. I have yet more to show.

Personal favourite part of the song: The bassline going down just before the last showdown of the song.

Nice psytrance-esque rendtition.
Would probably be quite good if it wasn't so flat.
I like this damn much, it sounds alot like the original SID, but it steps up really well. Keep up the good work.
It's pretty cool, but the mix is a bit washed out by all the reverb.
A few changes here and there in the Soundtrack would make this Remix better. But anyways; Aint bad at all.:)
Nice sounding remix here.... Welcome on board......
Great remix. Really well mixed and great choice of sounds
Not so much like what was original, but still outstanding
Well done, it perfectly combines the SID with ninety sounds
