Ugh! The rain's even more audible in this effort than previously. Apart from that the mix is good...
This is great, I love it... But the rain SFX should have been slowly faded out and be gone by the time the male voices come in, then maybe faded back in at the end for emphasis :)
Lovely! Apart from a very moody take on Fist II I waited almost 6 minutes for the rainy intro to end...;-)
I love the arrangement and the sound at 3'44 but this fuckin rain ruins the tune. You should remove it at 3'44 because the melody evokes the hope at this time and maybe the sun could appear... This is just an idea...
I like this a lot, great effort. I don't understand why the rain should be a problem, it's an element among elements in this song.
Nice basic idea of the style... But the rain is present way too much all over! This kills the whole rest of its impression here... Really sad somehow!
Nice arranged, but I can't feel any emotion
Still too much artificial rain/thunder...
I also think the rain is a bit.. Annoying. Somehow it takes over everything. Other than that I think it's kinda neat
Good idea, but I felt like the tune is not really heading anywhere... (does that make sense?)
Apart the ever menacing rain this ROCKS!
I've heard alot of stuff from here and this one is my favorite. You say that the rain is bad... Sure, but... Who can control the nature?:)
Oi!
Is this supposed to sound like Glyn R. Brown? Aimless somehow. I can't find the point in this tune.
Lovely, This feels like Fist 2 to me. I close my eyes and I'm there. I can't give higher praise than that. Rain is a little too loud in places.
I would've faded out the rain completely after the opening sequence. Nice dynamics throughout, good stereotypical Asian feel to it, good selection of instruments. Frankly, I expected a Jarre-style band-in-the-rain, but this works, too.

Comparing the new mixdown to the old version, the rain effect has not effectively been turned down at all. In fact, it even sounds more present, with more treble in it.

The rain really should be barely audible after the intro, it totally distracts from the outstanding far eastern arrangement.
