Story

So … After around 6 months of post-covid-issues with wife + carpenters, plumbers, electricians and more in our house every day … I finally got a few hours of free time. So, why not make a new remix? And why not in italo-disco style? And heck, why not rip a few bars off Scotch and add that? And yes – true to myself, I didn't spend more than the usual 3-4 hours (at a maximum) for anything I try to create, so yeah … eventually I'll be patient enough & try to learn, re-listen and fix things. Anyhow, I think the result was/is pretty okay for what it is.

@Lala. I read and understand the contents of your comment re: the infection etc. Just to be clear – it isn't supposed to be funny at all. I have personally experienced the tragic consequences of the C19. My wife is still sick after catching the virus, 14 months later (and counting). See my remix as a time document of the stuff we're experiencing atm.

True Italo disco. Starts with Scotch - Disco Band cough, the main part reminds me of Laserdance.
I loved my Koto and Laserdance records. This one is a nice approach!
Cool, creative and 80s!!!

Italo Disco style - me like. All the sounds - me like. Except one: the cough. OK, I get it, that's a rip, too, and a signature sound of this style, but along with the subtitle Italian Infection, personally, I find it distasteful in this age of the pandemic and not funny at all. Remove that, and you get a red smilie.

PS: I had a little chat with Wobbler which made me realize that I apparently misunderstood the message he tried to convey with this remix. It wasn't meant to make fun of the Covid pandemic at all. I'm writing this here in the hopes that nobody else will think of this remix that way, either.

I wish your wife a speedy and full recovery, Wobbler!
